Kathrina Villamorel (Grade 10 SPJ Elysium)

Heavy winds and rains had strike Lucena City, Quezon Province last Tuesday as Typhoon Kammuri also known as ‘Tisoy’ continue its assault.

Due to its heavy rainfall, most places in Lucena had experienced flash floods and people near rivers were forced to evacuate in their nearest evacuation area.

–Angelito Maligalig, Captain in Barangay 10 Bel-air Lucena City says.

Most establishments in Bel-air had temporarily closed as trees and post of electricity tumbled on the road causing black out in the some houses.

Storm Signal No. 3 remains in Lucena City, Tuesday. Officials also suspended the classes all-levels in the entire province of Quezon until December 4.
